Foundations are one of the most important components of a home. Unstable ground, damaged foundation beams and insufficient foundation can all present issues. Stephens and Son's specialize in raising low areas, installing additional support piers and replacing damaged beams and floor joists.

The above image depicts a house raising project on the Alafia River. The home was flooded due to the rapid rise of water levels during hurricane Charley. It was raised 3 feet to meet new flood elevation codes.

At bottom right, a historic building was raised and leveled approximately 12 inches as the foundation was reconstructed by subcontractors.
